Need help getting info on the company in California near Burbank that rebuilds steering boxes. I saw a commercial about them 6 months ago and lost the paper i wrote it on. They are near Burbank area and they are a big company that specializes in this kind of rebuild of worm drives and all seals and bearings. A**** other things they rebuild. Any help getting the name and/or number would be great! Next step in my 41 Mercury build. Thanks in advance.

Don't know about that one, but Lares Corp near Cambridge MN, does a lot of steering box remanufacturing.
I haven't heard anything bad about their work.

I had a steering box rebuilt (a 62 chevy box for my 38 fordallac) from POL 1931 Sampson AV, Corona CA 714 278 0098 about three years ago. The box was getting loose so I called and stated the issue. I wasn't looking for a replacement just some info on adjusting. They had me send it back for a free replacement with me paying the UPS
That happened this week. I thought that was kool.
