History Want to identify this ford cowl

I got home and my wife has bought this early ford cowl for a yard decoration. Can someone tell me what I have here?

I can narrow it down to 1928-1929 Model A Ford closed car. Go over to https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=3 and they can refine it. Look on the drivers side under hood part of the tank and there may be a date stamped.

Model A. Probably '28-'29.

 

A great wife....It's a 28 29 closed car cowl. Could be 2 door, 4 door and coupe but not pick up.

 

you have the start of your next hot rod is what you got

 

28 or 29 Tudor sedan. Look just above the seam running across the firewall on the drivers side and there is probably a manufactured date stamped in. Nice peice and good eye your wife has.

 

On the driver's side above the bolted seam, there might be a date stamped there.

 

I would guess it's a late 28 early 29 two door sedan. You can measure the door opening to help narrow down what it was.
