If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is! I need one to cut up to patch an original . Anybody bought one of these? Is RideRightParts part of the infamous Hoffman Group? Zero history, with an address of March Air Reserve Base, CA. (Anybody have an original top with good radiator neck opening?)

Looks to be steel, but Fred has great points........( not talking about his avatar although those are great too)
If I needed to patch an original I'd buy one of these and try it. They do appear to be metal. As far as being a ebay newbie that wouldn't bother me too much. I've gotten some of my best buys on ebay from newbies. Some of them starting out will offer things at a cheaper cost or free shipping on bigger items in order to gain some feedback. I have over 550 buys on ebay, only been bite a couple times and none by a newb.
I tried to send the seller a message to ask if it was steel, this is what I got back. HRP Find answers from riderightparts (0 ) This message cannot be sent at this time. He has zero sales. HRP
I just messaged him thru ebay and got an immediate reply back that they are made of steel. Like I said I'd go for it for use as a patch panel.
That guy is either drop shipping or is backdooring Hoffman group stuff. I snagged a Brookville blem 32 Shell from Kenny's rod shop this week for 205 after someone bid it up. The blem is supposed to be these scratches. If that is all that is wrong with it a bit of sandpaper and primer should handle it.
It is showing at March Air Base. I live here. Get an address or building number and I'll head over and check it out. It could be a brand new start up. We are getting all kinds of new businesses at March Air Base since the civilians took it over. I go to the March Air Base every other week end.
This look like the same shell that HotrodA posted minus the holes http://www.ebay.com/itm/1932-FORD-O...d=141650740960&_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851 Bro-Speed is another Hoffman group name .
Been in contact with the vendor. He has been in business for 15 years and this is a new start up for him. This is what I got back from them.... I have plenty of these in my warehouse. They are real. Otherwise why would I put on eBay and jeopardize my store. - riderightparts I invited them to check out the H.A.M.B. and answer questions about this item. Maybe they can pick up some sales here?
