I wish more people would load their pictures as thumbnails, especially the photo heavy posts. I get tired of waiting for all the pics to load, I end up leaving it and go on to another.

I have to say I am of the exact opposite opinion. I find nothing more annoying than having to click on a bunch of thumbnails to see pictures in a thread. You need a better internet service if you are waiting long for photos to load.

My heartburn is over photos hosted on an outside server like photobucket. So many times I've opened up a very interesting thread that is more than a couple years old and all the pictures are unavailable. I spent a lot of time in the past on a forum called Shop Floor Talk and they insisted on photos being posted directly to their forum so they would never be unavailable. A little more trouble for some guys too lazy to post individually, but much better for everyone over time. Oh yeah, not a fan of thumbnails either.

Mama taught me if I couldn't say anything nice then keep my pie hole shut. SO; I'll say that full sized pix are quite nice.

If I see a bunch of moderately interesting thumbnails I generally dont bother opening them. (Lazy me ?)
Full size is much more pleasing to the eye, they open quicker than clicking a frustrating thumbnail.

I lost a thumbnail, too - her name wasn't Idy, though, and it wasn't in a flood...

How do you guys get your thumbs/thumbnails so damned clean? Only time my hands are that white (pink) is after a couple months ramblin' around in my home grown motorhouse. Most of the year this is about as good as they get. Dry, cracked and usually several broken nails. Go-Jo, Agent Orange, Boraxo, all help, but the only thing that makes them soft and pink is not being in the shop.

Well this went south in a hurry.
I am no fan of thumbnail photos and often just glance over a thread where the OP has posted a batch of thumb nails rather than taking the time to go over each photo.
I'm guilty of posting from a photo host "Photo bucket" in the past an now have a Smugmug account but haven't figured out how to post from it and have the photo show.
Lately I just put the photos in the thread and done. I'm not paying the 300 a year to have the photos stay up when I already have two pro Photobucket accounts.
I probably have the ****piest internet of anyone on the HAMB here at home and full size photos still come right up. My internet is so bad that it times out before I can attach photos to an email lately .
