image.jpeg well haven't really done much to my new purchase but a little tinkering and enjoyable drives around the neighborhood . I have picked up a set of 16 " wheels when I get to dropping it a little bit . Hoping to have a set of 16" bias plays probably 16x550 x 16 x700 for rear . So for now I'm going to change my fronts that r 15x6 with 215x70x15 to 15x5" and am thinking 155x80x15" for the front . Think diameter is a little less then 25" and I believe equal to a 560 x15" in a bias ply . What say you ? Thanks guys

These are 165/80R15 on a 5" wheel compared to 265/75R15 on an 8" wheel I have for my '32 5 window. The 155/80 would be even shorter. Mine are just under 26" tall and 30.5 in back.

I've run 155R15 on the front, but switched to 165R15 because they are much more available. Not really a noticeable difference on the '40. Run 3.5 or 5 inch wide wheels. With a dropped axle, it gives a good stance and satisfactory performance, although I might not recommend it for a slalom compe***ion.

Think my backs are around 28" if I remember they are 225x70x15" .if I put the smaller tires on the front before I lower it I'm thinking I will have more open space between tire and top of fende lip ?
