Projects Lowering 1956 Ford

    I know there are some threads pertaining this question, but they are too long and there are just too many answers. I recently lowered my 1956 Customline with Ford Aerostar springs in the front and 3 inch lowering blocks in the back. It sets almost exactly level but now the stock shocks obviously are too long. What are you using for your replacement shock when performing this drastic of a drop? Part numbers would be appreciated!

    The rear shock length remains the same. All you did was raise the rear end.

    Throw the blocks in the swap meet box & de-arch the springs ...

    There was a part # mentioned in one of those other threads that you mentioned but I don't remember which one.
