Just posted about a big rear fender I got today from a guy whose uncle closed shop in 1942. Got a rust free Model A windshield with the Ford gl*** still there and a couple i need a bit of help with. Also a side window I can't ID. First 3 pics are windshield #1, then the side gl*** then windshield #2. 20171015_134543 (2).jpg 20171015_134555 (2).jpg 20171015_134617 (2).jpg 20171015_134155 (2).jpg 20170916_145517.jpg 20170916_152120.jpg 20170916_173816.jpg Thanks in advance.

    Side window could be Nomad/Safari.

I was guessing the side window was pre 1939, when vent windows became commonplace. Might be Ford, might not.

All these are supposed to be from a shop that closed it's doors in 1942, but who knows...

I'm guessing the winsheld and grilles are '36 Ford.

Agree side gl*** is pre-War. Have no clue about windshields.

Side window looks like Ford Cabriolet, the radius at the rear corner was typical of Ford Cabriolets from 1933 on but the length looks like it could be from a '33 or '34. Give measurements and maybe someone can nail it down.
The windshield is not Ford, the upper radius at the corners and the arch to the top makes it look more Mopar to me. JMO

I think the side gl*** is '35-6 Ford Cabriolet. I found an article on Hot Rod mag installing power windows in a '36 cabriolet, but it wouldn't let me copy & paste the picture. Maybe somebody will come up with a measurement.

Thanks for all the information. Just measured the window and it is 35 3/4 inches across the bottom. Top to bottom in the middle is 14 1/2 inches. That pic of the 36 sure looks a lot like it. It really is in good shape except the gl*** is cloudy. If anyone needs it, get in touch. 20171015_134253 (2).jpg
