So sorry to hear about Jeff, and his son. We will keep them in our thoughts. The car can be rebuilt and I know he will have lots of friends to help. Better day's ahead.

Well guys, here are the pics of the car post impact. As you can see the car doesn't really look that bad considering. The frame however is roached and so is pretty much all suspension parts. The body is cool except for where the back of the frame sort of poked through. You can't even tell in the pictures so it can definately be fixed. The block is fine. You can see where the header bolts ripped out of the head. The windsheild is smacked up from the generator flyin around like a lasso. And i am sorry to say that you can tell the seats are sans belts:( Did i hear someone say something about a tech article?

I just saw Jeff and his boy a couple hours ago. They are doin alright and send there love back to everyone. Big Jeff has an appointment with a surgeon for his knee. Little Jeff looks like he got in one hell of a fight, but his nose isn't broke. He's just got a really bruised up face and legs. The prayers have been felt for sure. Thanks everyone for your best wishes and prayers.

Thanks for the update. Glad to know that the boy did not break his nose...some good news is indeed good to hear. Adding the surgeon to my thoughts. Tell Big and Little Jeff they are still in our thoughts and prayers!

Damn that really*****s, what a beautiful car. But like everybody else said, cars can be replaced but people can't. Hope everything turns out okay, good luck.

I hope they heal in short order, I'll say a prayer for them. Let's keep in mind to build a safe car...you never know.

this is big jeff with the totaled 28 sedan, i had to re-register i forgot my password. i just wanted to thank everybody for their prayers and thoughts during this tuff time. little jeff is sore and bruised but is doing well. he's out right now with his papa in his 47 sedan. i'll be on here more now that i have extra time on my hands, not by choice tho. we plan on keeping the sedan if it's posible, but we will be looking for a full body vehicle for the family. first is getting back on both feet.
thanks again to everybody, and most of all to the road hounds who have been there for us through this whole mess.
we'll keep everybody posted on any news, insurance info, rebuild, or new car purchase.

    big jeff ;)

Get some pix, email Boyd the before and after shots, hand the adjuster the estimate.

Any other "good" shops that he can get other estimates from?

Hug your son, and explain to him that it doesn't matter how good you are at driving it's the other idiot (usually in a bigger vehicle:mad: ) that can get you in trouble quick.

Make sure his nose gets fixed right -- I didn't and have had trouble since.

Hug your son and take it as easy as you can.

And start figuring what you need to rebuild/improve the sedan!.

Hey bud! James here in Arkansas with the '61. Glad that you and jr. are doing well! Sounds like the big man upstairs was watching out for you two.

And speaking of full body sedans, I know of a real nice one......
