I have a set of original rails, uncut K-member, and 2 original shells with inserts. Am I becoming a Deuce guy?
This thread is like an AAA mtg but for 32 owners. My name is T&A Flathead and I have a problem. I own three 5w coupes, and I can't help it. When I see another one for sale, I just have to save it. I told my wife I would quit at 2, but when I found the barn car, I couldn't resist the temptation and lure. I fell off the wagon. Number 3 was hard on the marriage, but she and the 32s will stick around. I like my last one the best.
I agree. Although that is how Ford marketed them back then. As far as I know, the only difference body wise between deluxe and standard, would have been the holes drilled out for the cowl lights on the deluxe models.
Have a New Age Motorsports 4" chopped, working cowl vent, flip out windshield, roll down back window body on order. Also should be getting my Pete and Jake ch***is in the next 3 or 4 weeks. Getting excited! Wanted one all my life and decided I better get my **** in gear before I die!
Still sorting out all the details on this build. It's going to be a quick build and use lots of parts I have laying around. Doing some bartering too. Haha. I've got a really stout 400+ cubic inch small block that came out of my Willys drag car that's been looking for a home. Backing it up with a Tremic TKO 600 and a 31 spline 9" Ford.
Just picked up this project as I finish the '31. 'Gl*** 3 window Gibbons, TCI, 9", Super Bell. Not a fan of the wheels, but have the spare wires from the '31 I can put on to make it less "modern".
Yup, figured you would. Now the question is, how much of a chop? Your current car is killer, and made me think I wish I'd chopped mine more! Keep us posted.
