Built one in the early naughties and ran it for a few years and sold it about 3 years ago. Wish I'd kept it. What do you want to know? Chris

You will need to recess the firewall, put a 400 Pontiac in one and had to move the firewall. No big deal with a *****nproducts replacement. Just time consuming.
Just wondering if it had been done. Sounds like it has. My biggest concern is fit. Were you able to run hood sides with the big block?
We have a 354 Hemi going in a '37 Ford and it fits. We had to install a BBC firewall and need to find a way to mount the alternator down low, but otherwise it works.
The firewall recess (*****in) has already been mentioned. My floor needed reworking to fit around a TH400 trans. But exterior-wise completely stock. Mine was unaltered, save for the lowered stance and rolling stock it could have p***ed for unmolested original. The 454 was a squeeze I'll admit but it utilised off the shelf headers and the steering was just aftermarket joints and shafts. Fairly straightforward really. Chris
