Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by A32Flathead, Apr 21, 2006.

  1. Well,

its been a long time since we did anything to the Valiant, wife's surgery, 9 weeks without pay...choices between food & rent or buying car parts....Guess which ones won!!

So....if you are free next Saturday 4/29...and local(ish) to Campbell (near San Jose/Santa Cruz etc) and fancy giving a poor HAMB'er a hand, let me know....

Need to get brakes plumbed, new drums fitted to hubs on the front, change out the left handed studs on the left side for right handed oned....maybe get the beastie fired up!!

    PM me for directions....

We will supply food...please bring tools!!

    Thanks.... :D

I love it! I have never seen anyone consume that many bottles of Cuervo and have nothing but a loss of memory in the morning! Reminds me...I need to send you the picture of the incident...

You mentioned break plumping.. You need a tube bender? Flair nut wrenches.. Any specialty tools such as gear pullers... BFH?...

  22. If you have flare wrenches & a tube bender, that would be great.

    Thanks again

    Dave,
Have you photoshopped that thing? Ya know 3" chop, shaved, some WWWs?

I will know by Friday if I can swing by on Saturday, grunt work, wip[e the sweat off your brow. Same place as your Ho party.......oh, I mean hoe down......Pimps up. Hos down????? You know.

BTW, Caddy painted today shhhhhh. Quick glance it looks good but don't want to jinx it. It's sleeping in the booth tonight. Tomorrow morning will be like Christmas.

I'd love to go and meet some fellow HAMBers but I gotta work and my kid has a softball game in the afternoon. Thanks for the invite and maybe I can hook up with you all another time.

    Dave,

What time are you thinking of getting started? I'd love to at least come by and introduce myself. If my wife doesn't have anything going on for me, I can help out. Still some what of a newbie but can turn a wrench and don't mind getting dirty. PM me the address porfavor.

Was planning on heading down to The Hell Town Hop in the afternoon in Hollester, whether and home duties permitting.

Can't wait to see that Caddie painted Phatcaddie Brian....saw the black version many times and the SF Rod show version, but excited to see the final.

LOVE the PHOTCHOP...Awesome paint scheme and I love the rack and the ghost flame idea.
