A friend of mine who's in his late '50s and is more of a restorer (he's worked on a lot of English tin but since he's ) watched the Boyd show yesterday and said he'd never seen anyone so rude on the television: he also said BC was doing a fine job cocking-up the work on a late '30s Ford roadster..

 

You would think that with American Hot Rod showing him to to be such an tyrant and a-hole that he would be cogniscent of "there's no such thing as bad publicity" mantra... Unless he see's the shows, and thinks he completely justified in his treatment of his employees and now, the public....hmm.

 

And I was going to have him sign a picture of Chip's riddler car at the Dallas Autorama. Times must be tough if he has to beat the show circuit signing autographs.

 

Ya it would be cool if his ol lady had the crabs and somehow Dawayne would get them too!

PS- Jesse thought it was funny because that shirts been out for about 3 years- and He's at the top of his game, making millions and married to a movie star- he could give a crap about a T-shirt.

I met him at the Dallas Autorama earlier this year. One of my dorkhead friends just can't get enough billit on his car, yet magiclly hates Boyd somehow. We're always giving him a hard time when he is talking about parts for his car asking him,"Does that come in billit?" Well, my fiance spotted Boyd doing autographs, so I walked over and got him to autograph an Autorama poster with "Does that come in Billit?" and gave it to my friend. He must have gotten confused halfway through signing it, because he put "Does can come in billit?" Boyd looked like he was spaced out on vicodin and hadn't slept in 3 days. Weird cat.

 

I've seen about ten minutes of the JJ show on TV, and could only stomach half as much of the BC show. But I don't watch much TV anyway.

I saw Jesse bucking rivets into something, and he held up an old bomber seat which was riveted, and made a comment to the effect that there were probably four hundred rivets in the seat, and he was only putting in a couple dozen, but the guy who made the seat never got a TV show (the inflection was to give props to the unsung hero). I thought that took a little humility to point out publicly that there were other guys who came first; made the technology, and that we oughta' give 'em some respect.

From the three times (first, last, only) that I watched Coddington's show, I didn't get that vibe from him.

When I was taking photos at the SD Good-Guys show, I was crouched down shooting a photo of a 50 chevy and fucktard Boyd steps right in front of me. Ass right in the lens. Its not like is was shooting photos with a little digicam, my camera & lens are the size of my head so there is no way he didn't see what I was doing. I stood up and said 'what the fuck?' He just ignored me. Everyone around who saw was laughing at what an ass he was. Is!

 

This tech can be done with little or no money.First you disassemble the front susp. and remove the lower A frame. Next drill out the rivets and remove the lower spring plate.Next cut........Oh wait wrong thread!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

I heard he is a hamb guy and prowls.
