Okay, that is a late-model Mustang T5. It has an electronic speedometer sender, which will not be of interest to you.

I only attach to these when there is not a viable or an affordable alternative. In this case, there is.

If you convert this to an S10 tail housing, with the forward shifter, you will need to address the speedometer anyways. There is a simple kit to do this on "that auction site". It places a GM speedometer drive gear under the correct location to intersect with the driven gear in the S10 tail housing. So, in this case, it does not matter what your transmission had for a speedometer hook-up.

You would need and S10 tail housing for a mechanical speedometer, and a Mustang output yoke/seal to go in it.

Also, since the shifter is in a different place, you need, at-least, the shift rail. The easiest way to get this is to buy a top cover, with the rail, and the shift forks, from an S10 transmission, any year, T5. There is a T4 out there, but they are not too common. That won't work.

Same stuff, different shift rail lengths.

That part is one single ***embly. It is pretty easy to swap. I don't see the rail for sale often, and the amount of labor to swap just the shift rail would likely negate any savings.

    It is all out there.
