1952-59 Ford 302 mounting brackets for single wire alternator

    Can someone, please, post a picture of the installed alternator. I have the es1031c and jm9111c but cannot figure where or how this mounts.

    Here are a couple of shots from my setup of the factory kit. Triangular shape bracket at top fastened to water pump, bolt on top of alternator to the cylinder head with a spacer, lower arm from water pump to bottom of alternator.

    so, bottom line appears to be that the chrome bracket kit JM911C I bought does not fit and I will have to locate the stock brackets shown above in Auslander's pictures. Does anyone happen to have the two brackets that they would be willing to part with?

    Why doesn't your bracket fit? If the alternator is hitting the upper control arm you can always rotate the alternator on the high side of the bracket and just make a new tensioner rod.

    It is in. I got a nice chrome bracket from a local Ford guy. He did not need it, but I sure did.
