X2 - they can be rented, or bought for about $75.

Figure out what's causing the problem,is there a leak? Has the carpet gotten wet?

Might have something to do with your mouse problem, all their urine and droppings can cause serious health problems when inhaled.

  7. I had that problem in a few of my old cars.An old timer told me leave a fresh can of open coffee in the back floor board. It worked for me. Good luck with it. Bruce.

When I park my cars during the winter, I put a box of charcoal in each car. Use the real charcoal not the bicketts. Works great and I have no problem with odors.
Several years ago I had an interior odor in a 58 Chevy I built. A friend gave me a mesh bag of something like lava rock he said his wife had found in a store. It was designed to help with odors and can be regenerated by placing the bag in the sun. I still have it under the seat in my 56. The product tag has since fallen off so I do not have any detailed information on it.

I did find an add for "Zeolite" odor absorbing volcanic rock which looks just like the product I have.

first, find out why you have mildew.

I like to use a strong solution of Simple Green to wash the interior. If it is in the carpet, soak it, scrub it and then use an extractor (good shop vac) to get most of the liquid out. Then get it opened up and in the sun. Plenty of fans.

Next, find an industrial strength deodorizer. Spray it into the headliner, on the backs of the seats (take out the rear) and into the carpet.

You may end up needing a constant source of pleasant aroma, so find an air freshener that suits your fancy

I would get 10 gallons of Fabuloso Purple and throw them all in, after that I would buy a hazmat suit because mildew, rat ****, and mold ain't no joke. Or maybe some creamer for all the coffee you'll be buying
