Hot Rods Need some measurements 1939 trans

I'm gonna try to build a adapter plate to get my jeep t5 behind my french flatty using a hogshead.
To determine the thickness of the adapter plate i need to know how far the input shaft sticks out the bellhouse.
Can somebody please measure this for me ?

The jeep t5 is 10 spline but i need measurements from the 39 shaft (marked red in post above), mine is in the car so i cannot measure.
The t5 will replace the 39 trans. torque tube adapter i already got.

 

Mine are all open drive but should be the same.I measure 2&7/8 inch.
