I tried to edit this post. It's WIFE, not wide. We showed up 20 minutes too late due to a last minute photo shoot for ******** Rod and Kustom that came together last night. Even ended BBQing our carne asada at the house instead of with hte Hamb. We did get to meet a few nice straglers like Dante and ChiliPhil a**** others in the parking lot. Sound like all had a great time, thanks Dante for putting this together.

It was fun. I need to make a bigger pot of chili next time. My camera ended up staying in the car too. Just too many people to meet. What a bunch of fine salads, I ate and ate. HAMBers are a gourmet bunch! A tip of the Top Hat to Matt for the awsome ceveche. Fur Biscuit for the wine and carnage asada. Goozgaz for the vegie whatever it was. Brandy! I did get a piece of the blackberry pie. I rocked! Spare ribs, chicken. Mrs 41 Ford Dave brought salsa that was mighty fine. Mexican hot dogs produced less gas than last time. Not surprising, what with the price of gas. haha. I followed Grant and Wayno to the El Monte Airport show. Pretty neat, I'll come back. We went and saw a 40 Stearman biplane. NICE piece that was! My face hurts from grinnin'. Thanks, every one for making it a sweet day. I know I missed naming a lot of folks. I have a mind like a sieve! Most just runs through it.

Thanks are owed to Dante, Bumpstick and the Panel Beaters Gang for their organization skills.

Nice cars, nicer people, beautiful gals, good eats, adult beverages. That's the HAMB ingredients for a PERFECT Saturday in the park.

Chili, who can't wait to do it all over again.

Hey Mr. Chili, bring more chili next time!
That stuff went fast! I heard it was great.

I had a blast, cruzed up with some buddies, Thekid54, Munster and Bumpstick, we meet up with Dante who got there at “O dark thirty” along with Brandon “133” to save us all some parking and picnic tables, thanks guys!

Park Patrol was cool, “no drinking around the cars, keep it in a plain cup and we’ll leave ya alone!” we tried to give them a beer, but they declined.

We had lots of food, cold refreshments, about 4 grills going with a verity of tasty dead animal flesh, tasty cow! More cakes, pies, and cookies then I can even eat!
Thanks to G9micky’s wife for the brownies, I had 2.
All kinds of salads, chips, and tasty salsa. Thanks to all that brought food you’re the best!

It was nice to see HAMB’ers ya only ever talk to over the net, good to meet ya 1oldtimer ! Fur biscuit was down from Sacramento, that’s a way to go for a BB-Q!
it was good to see chopped50ford in his new hot rod. rustyredram, yer ride is as cool as ever! alway good to talk to ya FONZI, nice to meet ya link.
There were so many of ya, I’m not going to try and name names, you know who ya are, thanks for coming, good to meet ya.

The cars were cool, the people even better. No drama, very little posing, just good times!
( OK, I was posing ! sorry about the camera lense flatshoebox! )

Our spot at the park had a view of a small lake on one side and the freeway off ramp on the other, but this was a good thing, we got to see all the cool cars coming off the freeway and into the park. Anytime we heard the cool sound of a V8, or inline 6 on deceleration, hitting the off ramp everyone stopped eating and talking and heads turned what a view!

Thanks again for the hard work Dante, and everyone who showed up!

We’ll do it again next year!

Once again, the Mexican hotdogs vanished! My girl, Erika, had to go back and make another round for those that did not get enough the 1st time around. Thank god that she lives like 10 min. away from this year's location. I carried the 2nd batch back to the table and before I got there, I had hands grabb'in 2 at a time and half were gone before even setting them on the table. Glad everyone liked them. It was good to see all that I do know and those that I just met for the 1st time around. Good to see Norm (chopped50ford) and his new wheels and looking forward to seeing his '55 wagon soon. It took ya like almost 2 years to get a wagon? 'bout time, Norm! Now I don't feel so left out being the only one with a kool '50's SUV! I will have pics from the 4th BBQ and some from the JOMO show that I just got back from which had alot of sweet cars and trucks and bikes too. What a great weekend it has been for me!!!!!!!!!!!! And it all was spent with my babydoll in arm, Erika (piratevixenclothing). Pics com'in soon! KNUX!
