Looks good. Gettin' 'em out isn't so bad; where I have problems is getting them back in without scratching the fresh paint.

  3. What are your plans? Rebuild the Truck? Motor for another project? Exactly what year is that Truck?

Truck is 1949 F5. The plan is to put the flatty in a Model A Tudor, running a T5.

  6. Thanks for the answer. I used the frame side mounts like those in my Model AV-8 project. I knew they were F-1 but not all were the same. I need another pair and at least now I can go shopping. You may want to think about them yourself. They work grate. Check them out.

Looks good, I will hang on to the mounts. I know the next steps are the more challenging ones, but hey, that is why we do this sh!t.

  8. Well challenges are what describe us. Sounds like a change over coming for you as well as your Model A. Now at 70 you would think building my A Roadster would be Child's play, ya right. They are no two alike. There is no "One way is correct". I understand there is some famous builder out there that actually wrote a Book on exactly how to build an A V-8. Could you imagine following instructions on how to build your vision? NO THANKS! There is no wrong way. No matter what's in front of me I never read instructions till the project is behind me just to see if who wrote them actually knew what they were doing. It's been wonderful to date. Good luck with your build.

Interesting old cherry picker, never seen one made that way. Thanks for the pics.

  10. I noticed the Cheer Picker also. I have one similuar to that. They were sold to Rental Co's through the 60's around here. They would brake down so the user could haul them in there Trunk when Cars actually had trunks.

Picker is a rental from a local spot, breaks into 5 pieces a fits in the back of an SUV. Worked a treat.
