Your 're down state, I'm from Binghamton which is 10 minutes from the Pa. line. It's weird but people south of Rochester consider themselves "southern tier"

 

I worked for a guy in Pine Island 11 years ago.I get to the area a couple of times a year.

 

i'm originally from Yonkers, i live in RI now but i did live in Rockland for awhile, Pamona to be exact.
