spent the whole morning at the swap but never connected with any HAMBsters did anyone else go ?No complaints spent a good day with the grandson and got a few good parts also but I was hoping to meet some folks there.Saw a great rear for a flattie rail. ford rear that couldn't possibly be lightened any more both axle bells bored full of 1-1/2 holes full length, both backing plates partly cut away and drilled to the max with 1/4 inch holes, narrowed and open driveshaft .Rear was complete and looked to be in exelent condition other than the compe***ion modifications $250.00
I did not make it. The weather did not look good for a swap or a car show. How was the car show? Did you get any pictures? Thats got to be one of the best swap car show around.
] Had second and third thoughts. Went anyway. Heading east drove out of the rain. The swap meet was dry until near the end. Even then just a sprinkle. I also studied that weird banjo rear. Came home with a NOS Halibrand V-8 center. All in all a worthwhile trip. Although I wish more vendors braved the weather. Regards, Ron
I thought for sure it was going to get rained out. Will be at amherst next sunday when hopefully the weather is better.
