Enjoyable episode......just have to remember it's TV! Going to be one "SHARP" looking coupe.

They had a nice car to start with. I like the fact they are letting Bass do a more old time style rod. The 331 is a nice touch. Keep the bling bling to a minimum please.

Was the car ever a running / driving hot rod, before it was stored in the 1960's? Or was it started and never completed?

It turned out excellent. So glad that it stayed a traditional hot rod. Watching this coupe being built really makes me want to get re-started on my 34 5 window. I also installed a 331 V8 in mine. However, it's a 34 Chevy, with a 331 Cadillac. :D

Watched it off the DVR last night when I got home. That's a lot of work to turn out in a short period of time.

  14. Incredible result, hope Brian gets the attention and success he deserves.

He is a pretty good-sized old boy today, plus he is easily one of the best fabricators in Texas. I think he is stepping down to work around that asswipe Richard Rawlings. Maybe that shop will pickup a few tips from Brian. At TROG WEST, he was driving his red roadster like he stole it. Several locals referred to him as BADASS Brian Bass.

Well,l to that I say this. The Martin boys joke around and have fun but they don't get into that shit like that Dwayne character on Coddington's show. In fact, Boyd was as bad as Dwayne when it came to being an asshole. Foose's show was much like Iron Resurrection with NO drama and lots of fun to watch. Just my 2 cents. Count's Kustoms and Kindigit are two other shows with zip drama and fun to watch.

Really ! ! We can always hope.

  22. Well, IMO, Kindig could get rid of the idiot Kevin, and Count could shit can that Horny Mike jerk off, and the shows would be even better.

You know, if the HAMB was a TV show, it would come off looking just as stupid. Think about it!
It's just supposed to be entertainment.

  26. This is unfortunate, but I understand 1-Shot comes off easily with rubbing alcohol. Very nice hot rod though.

  28. It was good to see a real builder back on the show. It would be an asset if he stuck around. The GM crew is a little wet behind the ears to be doing any real significant builds.

Bending the steering arms to clear the split wishbone after having the axle dropped. Real hot rodding, the way it has been done for ~75 years.
