So has anyone else seen this odd little car? I saw it at the GRNS 2006, and then again at Blackie's this year. Had a for sale in the window, wonder how much.
YES !, and long before it was finished, what a neat little Rod. Car belongs to a wonderful young craftsman named Jake Yenny who is on his way to being one of the top known builders in the country. Buying it now would be a great investment in the long run, IMHO. I know it's for sale but cannot help ya with the amount, give him a call in the morning (Colorado time) at 1-970-669-6691. Tell him Johnnie Walker gave you the number. Johnnie
That's very similar to what my current build will be! (just add a 30 inch pickup bed, & a top) Tri-powered SBC & a 5 speed. Oh yeah, 50 Merc steelies & wide-whites too! It's happenin'!
hey cbb what did you think of the detail in the car? looks like he spent alot of time on the small stuff. I think I saw the guy that built the car, he is over 6 foot. I guess the steering is back to clear his legs. Kinda looks like Iskys 23 with the steering wheel so far back
That's a cool car. Nice details, wrapped springs, underslung front, twin weber quad four..... I don't get that steering wheel placement? Rich
this is a cool little car. Is the frame upside down? sits really nice. I think I remember a green Dodge? maybe? done very similar a couple of years ago?
that dodge is in this months hot rod. the frame on this 27 looks to be custom built, due to the kick in the rear. It's not tall I would guess around 40 inches or so, the neat thing is that there is like 4 inches or maybe more of ground clearance.
I love the car and the Quad 4. But to be a bit picky, I had a T-bucket with a dogleg in the drag link and I would highly reccomend not doing that.
