Hot Rods Please identify this hood

I am cleaning out my dirt floored shop and this hood has to go. I have seen people save worse sheet metal. I am at a loss as to what make and model this fits. I want to give it away. I just don't want to throw it away with the rest of the metal s**** tomorrow. So somebody please let me know what it is and if you want it let me know.

Hang it from the rafters for a few more weeks, years, decades. Looks pretty decent from here. You must be a real die hard 39 guy to not recognise that.

 

Doesn't look bad at all, put it in cl***ifieds or your local craigslist.

Yes I am a pretty die hard 39-40 guy but fact is I just got lazy on the ID of this hood. The stainless trim just did not look like a Ford item so I was thinking maybe it was a mid thirties Dodge or something similar. As so many of us do I just thought ,why not ask the HAMB and got a quick answer. Since it is a Ford item I will find a place to store it while looking for a new home for it.

Thank you all for your input. I contacted a local 35 Ford roadster owner that is was happy to take the hood home.
