MAN! me and the `ol lady had a GREAT time & thanks to all! & dan, I think she LOVES you more than me now...
We saw, we ate, we told tall and short tales, we had a blast, checked out a lot of cool machinery, then went home, took a nap and could only manage to eat an apple for dinner we were so stuffed. When's the next one!?!?!? You guys do know theres a 200+ mph model pylon car race track just the other side of HWY 19 don't you?
Here's a site that tells all about it. http://www.amrca.com/ The track is there in the pick on that page. If I got my mental maping skills on line tonight, it's located just West over Rosemead/Hwy-19 from where we picnic'd and just North of The 60 Frwy. They have model airplane flying over there too. There's often guys out there tuning and running cars even when there isn't an official meet too. That's an actual 200+ mph too... not scale speed!
Looks like a lot of fun was had. SWEET cars! I love the panel lace roof. FoMoCos wife has a beautiful car! We need to make a trip one of these days to SoCal.
he, he...actually 1/2 the truck from the shell to the back of the cab is bare metal. Thanks though...I got lots of compliments on the paint job...I referred them to the painter himself.... Thanks...actually, I took out that dash and I have the tank out, gutted and stripped to bare metal right now. Im going to add a cluster in the center of the stock dash. while were on the subject...Hey mike, you got an extra flatty laying around?
I have a convertible Lincoln like that. Seeing that one gets me thinking about... How nice yours is and mine will most likely stay the same..

Uhhh actually I prefer painted cars to primer. I hate primer, it comes off too easy. Bob, I call all SHOEbox Ford's, ****box Ford's. Just a pet name........no malice intended. Don't cry, I'll tell all your friends!
Bob, dont mind her, she has her ways... She may seem thick and hard on the outside, but she's just as soft on the inside.
