    Hi guys

I have a 1927 buick master series, and I was just wonding if internal parts of this engine are interchangabke from other years? E.g. 25, 26--crankshaft, rods and pistons.

    Cheers

I know a 28 is the same almost the same car too probably the earlier models are and maybe a 29 or 30 . a guy who has plough book sales in belmont vic. has manuals for the 28. I got one it's cheaper than here in the u.s. I have a 28 master really just part of one. going to make a truck from it. just watch taking the oil pan off the last two bolts will try to fall in the clutch housing and it takes a while to get them out. keep a magnet on the wrench. also i ran across a dual carb alunimum downdraft nicxon intake that is for a 30s international truck that fits almost perfect. just lucky. it looks good on it i havn't done anything to it an a f few years but i'll get back on it sometime. good luck

    1925 Buick
    Standard - 191 CID
    Master - 255 CID

    1926-1928 Buick
    Standard - 207 CID
    Master - 274 CID

    1929 Buick
    Standard - 239 CID
    Master - 310 CID

GUESSING that engine components would interchange, within series, from 1926-1928. The carburetors are the same, within series, in these years.

You might look for one of the earliest Hollender Interchange Manuals, or a Buick Parts Book.

    Jon.
