Hey, I will be leaving for Ocala on Feb. 12 from Ohio. I was wondering what kind of cool Hotrod shit I could get into? I have to drive my Grandma down for a relitives aniversary. The party is on the 14 th. and i will proly stay for like 7 days after that.. I dont think i will bring the coupe down because Grandma aint up to the ride, its like below freezing up here. I was wondering if anyone would like to hang out? Tell you what, i cant wait to get out of this damn cold and snow! Hammer Hank

There is going to be a show in Tampa on the 21st. Car show plus some bands including Los Straightjackets. Big swap meet in Webster on the 12,13 and 14th. Then there is always Big Daddy's museum right there in Ocala. Like Nads said PM us when you get here and I'll give you directions.

if your here on a wednesday you can run up here to gainesville and check out the "private yard" - might find some stuff you want- email me if you want directions ect. not sure of much else going on there is also another yard in lake city which is about an hour north on I-75

The Zephyrhills swap meet and car show will be on the 20-23rd. It's a better swap meet than webster. It's worth going IMO. Here is a link

Yea it's at Skipper's. The bands play outide under the oaks. It's a benefit for WMNF the best radio station in Florida. The Z-hills swap is 19-22. about 30 miles north of Tampa. Scrapyard where are you at in Tampa? I'm down by the base.

Roadstar, I am defantly gonna hit Garlets Museum and I also know a guy down there who ran around with grandpa in the 50's, a couple of his rides are in that scrap book.. Hes got a bitchin 40 for convertable dad did for him, a 46 ford coupe, and a 33 five window, all with hopped up flatties! We are gonna hang out for a few days. I loved WMNF- #1-music of the isles, #2-bluegrass monday nights, #3-friday night blues til midnight - I hated to leave it when I moved up to neckville, I got to listen when i was down at Christmas and its turned into a political BS station

Yeah, I suck. I'm sorry I couldn't make it. I was stuck trying to finish the negotiations on a new house. I made the mistake of thinking everything was good, even though the sellers are getting divorced. All is good now.

If it makes you feel any better, Justin called and verbally assaulted me for not showing.

 

He visually assaulted the ones who did go.
Let's just say the the beans were above the frank.
