I've got a Specialty Power cable wiper setup in my 48 and not much would show except the actual piece that the wiper arm fastened to. The motor can be hidden about anywhere you have room.
Back in the 70's a lot of guys used the motor, arm and blade for a Jeep CJ from the after market on tall T's and other similar rods. Simple setup and the switch is on the motor so there isn't a lot of wiring but you would never get two of them in sync. Something like this. Readily available from lots of sources https://www.amazon.com/Omix-Ada-19101-02-Wiper-Motor-Kit/dp/B000FQ7H28

I've used a three wiper setup kind of homemade from the old Datsun/Nissan 4WD G60 model.
You can even find them with two wipers and I just make them into three as the coverage is much better.
I've used them on my 29 Tudor, 29 Pickup and now on a 26 Coupe.
I take my time and can get it all but the motor unit to fit inside the header panel.
I don't have actual pic's of the setup but here is what I could fine from my 29 red Tudor and 26 primed orange Coupe.
If you play your cards right you can end up with 2 speeds and washers if you so desire.
PM me if you want more info, I'd be pleased to help out.
