I looked at those too. Wasn't ready to go that far but what I spent, I was 1/2 way there.

Certainly not cheap but they had already done a custom front stub for these cars and had everything I wanted in the kit so I went that route.

It looks pretty good so going to install it for now with a gate shifter and drive it as such.

So I've been looking for rear tires as it seems limited in space I've heard 235 is pushing it, I would like to go wider can you mini tub these cars easily with an generic mini tub kit. I'd like to get out to 275-285.

You either radius the wheel wells like they did for the g***er style or cut and modify the frame along with tubing the wheel wells.

Friend of mine put a late model Mustang ch***is and running gear under a Henry J, He is also doing a '54 Ford 2 door he put the Bullit wheels on the rear of the '54 to roll it around on,tire size was 245/55/17 check out the width and height here:" https://www.summitracing.com/parts/fal-11736 Google an image of a 17" X 8" Bullit wheel that is what theywere mounted on,the lower distance from the top of the wheel to the top of the tire is why it can get in the wheel well that and the positive offset.

What are the difficulties of putting in a mini tub?

Sorry for some reason I didnt see this reply, well that is not exactly the path I wanted to go. So basically a stock car style cut quarters or narrow the frame and tub.

Good looking car! But I'm old and like my cars in the old style. I hve always been able to go where ever anyone else does and usuall with a lot less problems!

These are designed like the Patriot header mentioned in the "FAQ" and since you have a modified suspension and eliminated the stock steering box they may be a good fit. https://www.ebay.com/itm/FOR-63-77-MUSTANG-COUGAR-V8-260-302-5-0-STAINLESS-STEEL-HEADER-EXHAUST-MANIFOLD/400910407190?fits=Year:1967|Make:Ford|Model:Mustang|Submodel:Base|Engine+-+Liter_Display:4.7L&hash=item5d581f5616:g:u8wAAOSw6GJaAmH1 If you eliminated that cross member behind the engine where those oval holes are that the exhaust p***es thru the Tri-Y header would work also: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Tri-Y-Stai...255451&hash=item281d384541:g:lesAAOSwXrhXnGry

Awesome thanks I've been looking into a few options I'm getting some dimensions sent to me so I can measure it out, the engine builder recommends something with 1 3/4 primaries so that's what I'm trying to accomplish
