OMG AND I LIVE IN MD>>>AND I HAD NO CLUE HEAVEN COULD BE FOUND IN THIS STATE!!!....at first I was like...ohhh cool...a Model A frame...I need this and this off of it. ...them I about fell out my chair and i couldnt speak for at least ...well I still cant. The last junkyard like this in MD that I knew of an old black guy owned off of Rt. 235 past Prince Fredrick in Calvert County. The County pressed him for over 30 years to get rid of about 10 acres of exactly this...but think about it from 37 chevy's, Merc's, to 72 Vette's a few camaro's Nova's late 70s Mopars...crazy stuff. I would checkup on it regularly and stop in from time to time. Well one weekend I stopped in after a 4 month hiatus and a dozer was wreakin havoc. turns out the county finally put a stop to the old man's treasure. "No Permit" he says. Turns out the county had just approved a 20 acre devleopment of higher end housing up the street. In all reality it was a "eyesore" for those stuck up bums. Sad isnt it. But True. Checkit out. I can send pics of whats left. If only we can turn back time.....

Nice pix man. Do you ever wonder how people get ahold of shit like that?

I knew of a yard NW of Phoenix where the guy was contracted by DPS to tow ticketed vehicles from the side of the road. Some of the shit in his yard would have blown your mind! I was into Challengers/Cudas at the time, and I bought thousands of dollars worth of parts from him. At 1 time I had like 4 truck loads of shit that I bought. He was a strange cat though, he wouldn't sell you the whole car. Maybe it was the deal he made with DPS. If he didn't know you, he wouldn't sell you shit. He had a scaggle of dogs that would go ape shit when someone pulled in his yard. He used to sit back on his porch and laugh his ass of at us trying to wade through about 20 wild dogs runnin after our car/truck. He told me that if we hit one of his dogs there would be hell to pay.

  20. So THAT'S where all the six-banger Mustangs went to! Anyone notice how many de-roof'd wagons there were? I suppose there weren't any engines in all those early 50s Fords...

What!?!? You didn't get a picture of the Saab Sonnet!?!? :D
