I can't seem to find what the lug nut torque is for my 51 Pontiac. I have the 49-50 and the supplement manual for 51 and neither one has torque specs for the wheels. The reason I'm asking is because I'm going to take the car to use one of the lifts to check the brakes and use a impact wrench to remove the wheels. I'm going to use a torque stick to put the wheels back on but want to use the right one.

What size are the studs? 65 to 90 ft lbs for "normal" 1/2"-20 would get ya there. Dry torque

My memory ain't what it used to be. I edited the post, that's from a Ford shop manual. 65-90 ft lbs. In those days they said "lubricated threads" right in black and white.

Today there's all sorts of warnings and flashing neon, warning not to lubricate lug nuts. Wonder what changed?
