I haven't done a cover featuring customs in a while. I quite like this one.

    I guess I haven't done a pickup cover in a while either.

  3. Lovin 'em Geoff. I went up to Echuca and stayed at Mum and Dad's place with my uncle on the weekend. Went to the bendigo swap on Saturday. there was plenty there, just nothing that I needed. And I finally bought the falcon home on Sunday.[IMG]

Thanks FB. Always good to get a a new project home. Especially if you have owned it for a while and it has been stored elsewhere.
It would seem I am almost right back into the swing of these covers again. Here's one I just did. For me this one has a real good feel to it.

I really like both the '57s on this cover. And if I had a '57 Nomad I would like to be just like that gold one,

This one ranks way up there with my favorites of the nearly 600 of these that I have done. Enjoy.

I found that side shot of the' Lomas coupe' ( as seen on the last cover) whilst looking at images this morning on the net. Of course one thing led to another and I found more shots of this stunning coupe. But the shot that I have used as viewed from the rear on this cover, just took my breath away. Now I have another cover that I rate up there with my other favorites.

Oh my gosh, someone said something.
Here's one featuring a 3W that I find truly inspiring. Unfortunately because the images were taken at different times and in different lighting conditions the orange looks totally different on each. I spent a lot of time trying to edit the images, but couldn't get the coloring anywhere near close.

Whodacky please your tantalising my mind with the prospect of potentially turning my Aussie coupe into a super bell coupe clone

Sorry Tom, it was not my intention to mess with your head. But I am sure you will get over it, one way or the other.

Here you go Tom, here's a quick and crude photochop. I would need to put a lot of time into this to get it looking better.

Just again messing about, very quick and crude. To get an idea.
I hope Tony isn't looking for his coupe body in the next couple of days.

Yeah I think Tony will take it OK. But you never know, maybe I will be able to sneak it back into his new garage before he even realizes it's been missing.
Anyhow I got up early this morning and hit one of those dark and dim old book shops, looking for gold in the form of old hot rod magazines and found this gem.

Here's a new one I just completed. I have used this coupe on a few covers now. It looks especially good on this Street Rodder magazine cover.

Great Job on the covers! You need to design for Hot Wheels or Matchbox cars with your eye for detail.
