    Unknown car at Tri City Dragway is actually the Locomotion Ford Prefect.Unknown car at Fremont is the Bob Silva/Ron Nunes Austin.

    I always loved the color of Jim Oddy's car so I painted mine a similar color that was called Sapphire Blue.

    Just to be clear.
    The Jack Flash Anglia and Jr. Thompson and Son Prefect (four door) are not Austins!
    But you knew that.

    The Newell brothers got there original car back a few years ago, someone had built a tube chassis for it raced it, an then sat, They bought it an then realized what it was going to take to get it Certifiable, Kinda killed it for them, that one also was in western NY, I have a two door shell, an two 4-doors, That I think one will become a truck soon ) anyone close that has a glass front end or two pm me...     Since the Austin historians are on a roll, does anyone recognize this one? Olds rear end w/leaf springs & sq tube ladder bars, chrome straight tube axle with long chrome hairpins, unfinished rear wheel openings. Also some floor and door damage from an exploded trans/clutch
    Rumors are it came from Colorado (?)
