Projects 34 ford steering column

What length of aftermarket steering column are builders putting in their 34
I will be useing original seat in my 4 door

I've not used an aftermarket column yet but figure you will possibly cut it to length to suit your car, maybe. I re-used my original '33 column and working drop with lock hooked to a vega box (in the sedan). Seats are generally adjustable so column length is secondary, at least in my thinking.

I have a vega box and the car didn't come with a column , so I think I will get an aftermarket, tilt
Just wondering what lengths guys are using
