    Can kiss my black ***!

In the past few threads on Moon, I always said "No problem here" - "They deliver for me", and other nice, warm, fuzzy compliments in defense of the *** clown *******s.

I ordered a set of wheel disks last month. I ordered on 4/3, on 4/17 I sent an email asking "WTF? Where are my parts?"

I got a reply with a tracking number, which should have been sent the day of the order. OK, no big deal, I waited two weeks.

I open the box, and NO SCREWS! Whenever I buy these they come with the perfect screws w/ the little plastic rings.

I send them a pissed off email last week. My reply? Ungats!

**** them! **** 'em up their mothers ***. Not even a ****ing attempt at an apology?

    WHOA...calm down man! It'll be alright.:D
I've ordered parts from them before once and it took 2 months to get the stuff. And not all at once. It would just trickle in. Won't buy from again.
    I feel your pain!

Are you pissed off at them? - I can't tell(ha,ha)
I've had problems also - I quit using them about a year ago. About every other order I made with them they screwed up.

I've taken to only buying from them at shows. They did the same thing to me about the screws and it took forever to get em so I don't bother anymore. My sister tried to get me a shirt a few years back for Christmas. She ordered it from them in NOV. and got it in FEB.. She said they gave her the run around the whole time, so now if I want something I get it at the shows or try to find it used.

I order some wheel discs off there web site. A week later I called to see if I could get a tracking number??? The Discs where never sent. Why? Thay no longer stocking the ones I wanted... Why have it for sale on the web site if you don’t have the stock??? I found that allot of the items listed on the web site are no longer stocked...that sux.. Just stick to buying there stuff second hand you will get better customer service..

  12. Not to piss you off any more than you already are, but why would you buy from moon and not Kevin here on the HAMB. maybe I am confused about what you were ordering....I bought from moon a while ago...total **** and way over priced.....

Moon ****s....the days that they were quality and affordable (if any) are long gone....Yet I still see guys with Moon stickers on their cars....Pity...

I hate to say it but they burned a fellow club member recently too. He ordered a set of Astro Supremes which took FOREVER to show up, one was totally bent and they didn't send the caps or lugs he paid for. It took another 3 weeks for the replacement wheel and other **** to show up. I've always had lightning fast shipping and no burns as of yet (Knock on wood!).

This may not work for everyone but heres what I do: When I need something I see in any given catalog I make a note of the part number then go down to SoCal speed shop and ask for it. They usually open the same catalog and order it for me right then and there, if they dont have it in stock. If theres any problem I can scream at SoCal and they know that. I usually get better service bacause the mfgs. give them better service and I don't pay shipping. Bob

I think they may have a new guy now. I ordered a spun aluminum tank and they were out of stock. It took me 9-weeks to get the damn thing! They said the guy that used to do it (with implications that it was some old guy) was no longer there and they were trying to get someone who knew the process. Now they could have lied to me like the numerous other stories I'm hearing on here. Don't know.

Ditto that! Who's Kevin and is he selling wheel discs? I will support a HAMBer when possible for sure! We need a HAMBer to start spinning aluminum so we can have some tanks, wheel discs, etc. that you don't have to donate a testicle for!

I tried going into buy some **** and thier was one person helping about 5 people. While the chick behind the counter was looking for parts for some 70's truck she was peacing together. Never asked what we needed or if she could help in some way. If your in the stroe and have the moon shirt on then show some company pride and help your customers. Will never see any moon stuff on my 30. But the xmas show kicks ***.

    I have one question...........

Why can't Mooneyes get with the times and get a better website. They could really use some help from someone like Ryan.

I´ve never ordered at Mooneyes so I know nothing about their way to run a business but I´ve been there last Wednesday after the VLV show to pick up some stuff. The quality was great and those guys were very helpful and extremly friendly.

They even took their time to find a matching set of moon discs for my buddy´s wheel chair.

We also got invited by Bill Jenks to visit the shop where they make all the spun stuff , intake manifolds and valve covers. It really made my day.

There were about three guys in the office and a girl behind the counter, all of them were quite busy but very polite and friendly although the telphone was ringing all the time. Maybe they need a couple more employees to get their stuff straight.

Anyway , last Wednesday was for me like Christmas and Birthday at the same time....

I was really surprised how small this shop really is... but lots of great stuff. Like a candy store for big kids.

  26. theres a guy over here who shelled out a **** load of hard earned cash for one o them Moon injection systems, I was told by the man "It's the most expensive ornament he has....finally it took 2 years....yep folks 2 ****ing years and the posting of the problem on this very site to get any kind of response from Moon. Finally after the threat to boycott Moon became a bit too real Chico and an employee flew over to the UK and fixed the problem but for christ sake it took 2 years.......I will never buy from Moon direct and may never actually buy the stuff again (the last t-shirt has a while to go yet) If I do it will be from another trader and not Moon.

I ordered from the once and had no problems, but after the many threads of everyone else having some serious issues I decided it'd be in my best interest to stay away.:D

I called them a couple months ago for some breathers, I asked if they were in stock and they said yes......after a couple weeks I called them back only to hear they were on back order so I canceled my order and called speedway, they were on backorder there too so I called this place:
    http://www.richardsstuff.com/page15.html

SUPER nice guy to deal with and they were shipped the next day.
