just thought I'd share some "before" pics of my 30 coupe. Going to run a ho-hum 350 w/ a 3spd auto. This is my first hot rod so any advise is welcome.

Good start, I like seeing these pics of what the strange, bent and rusty bits in my shed should look like.....
Looks like you have all the bits to build a nice fendered rod there to me.

thanks for all the kind words and offers to take it off my hands, but I think I'm going to keep it. My plan is to build a fenderless, hoodless, chopped hot rod. 350 stroker, with a 3 spd auto. Still not sure on the color, black primer still looks good. I plan on this being a daily driver, a really loud, fast daily driver.

  24. my advice to you is this and this only. get an idea of what "style" you like at the time and start and go from there. good chance your taste will change as you see your ride evolve. if someone thinks what your doing is a bad idea dont say "screw him, he doesnt know what i like" take what hes saying as something to keep in mind but never forget... its steel and you can always fix it. do what you want. if it doesnt look good start again. its a hot rod! good luck and keep us posted

    nice ride.

Ditch the 350 combo  and put in a Rocket/Nailhead or maybe another 4 banger w/ a T-5.

    Nice pick.

    Good luck.

Im just busting your chops..run what ya want...It will rock either way. :)
