As a junior in high school in 1969, this would have been my dream car. Perfect.

Obviously an old post and the OP's car is painted by now...

I used to own a 67, Chevy II wagon.
    Had it painted black.
A fun little car. Sometimes I kinda wish I still owned it.

I know the 66/67's may be fudging the cutoff date a bit but figured why not they are a continuation of the 62-65 generation and thought they would fit the spirit of the HAMB guidelines, plus they are nearly identical underneath.

    I'm a Chevy II/Nova nut also Mike.
I bumped the thread mainly to get it active again, it had languished a bit plus the P-bucket debacle kind of negated it as a photo thread, and we all love photo threads.
I too have a 67, bought it in 1983, been through a couple different iterations over the years.

One of my all time favorite Chevy ll's. I'm partial to white 1965 Super Sports.

The one in my avatar was just one of a few Nova's I had when I was younger.

I always liked the Goldwood Yellow 65 SS my high school pal had, it was a 327/300/4speed.
Another guy had a Lemonwood Yellow 66 SS, 327/275/3 speed on the column.
Pretty rare, a bucket seat non console car.

The 4 speed handle/stand thing is cool! Now I'm going to make a couple.

That's a good looking "tribute" car, I'd sure like to see more photos of it.
Did you notice the rally wheels and that its an SS?
    Grumpys' cars were sport coupes.

You ever see closeup shots of the engine bay and interior of Jenkins' 66?
I have yet to find any.

Bill Thomas was the first to make hot rod material out of the Chevy II.

I don't think I've ever seen a Jenkins car with the hood up, at least not so we could get
    a look at his stuff.

Things got really interesting after the lift off hood came into play, everybody trying to hide their intake manifold mods, cardboard and ductape became very popular.

The '66 I posted wasn't meant to be a dead-on replica, just one more in a long line of cars
dedicated to Jungle or Pam. The way I feel about tribute cars is the way I feel about tribute
rock bands...do your own thing, make your own name.

I like seeing the first photo of "Nova Too Late". I had that centerfold taped to my bedroom wall
in the late '60s. I had my first '66 at that time.
