Hey folks, I know it is way early but i want to let everyone know that we have this years date. It is going to be Sunday July 23rd Kelley Park 1300 Senter Rd San Jose the skinny is that you bring our own meat and we supply the bbq pit. there is music, vendors, and art. We are also going to be doing "Hubcap Contest" People can Kustomize a cap and then the public will let us know who wins. If you are intrested in the Hubcap contest or being a Vendor let me know. Brad
Thats the day after my show(the Carnival) in Sacramento. What hapened with your show being the next day after Asphalt? I will try to be there Kelly park is such a great place to have a show. Scott

Thanks for the kudos guys. I will be updating our website with all of the fine details. Scott, we tried and tried and pleaded with the county to get the date following the Asphalt Invitational, but no luck. We are bummed about it.
Okay, I've got my calendar marked. BTW, does anyone know where the Invitational is going to be at this year?

Ya my computer took a crap and figured i would use my name, what a concept. as for the other questions it looks like Sean answered them. I do believe we are going to try next year to get the show back to back with asphalt again. city would not let us have the date we needed. What does everyone think about a hubcap contest?
Well that sucks (for me) am flying out for the Asphalt and was looking forward to going to the Strangers show the next day....you guys better make it to the Asphalt ,Ive been wanting to see your cars for a while( the things you guys do to those Caddys )
We are all bumming about the date, but the show going to be great. Most of us should be able to go to the Asphalt, so you should see some of the cars. Sorry your not going to be able to make the bbq. Maybe next year or just take a few extra days in California and say "hello"

Tex, Thanks for the link. We usually don't book bands. I noticed that they are playing the Asphalt the week before though. I will check them out for sure.
I wouldn't book them Sean...they have an ENGLISH band member!! Its ok, I know him quite well!! They rock, its 2/3 of Hopped Up!!
Just reading this tread-- I'm BUMMED we're not going w/ back to back shows this year! I'm sending everybody over to Sean's house on Sunday anyway! =-)
