It spent a while getting the body & floors fixed is another shop.

 

cool. I suspected that with the new paint on the firewall, roof, etc. I hope that experience went well.

 

Not bad, now the engine and transmission have met their final resting place.

after a battle with bolts and brackets, the alternator is in place. Fuel pump too. Progress, but oh, my, so slow.

Water outlet & thermostat are in. Headers are on. Steering box is in place. Progress is agonizingly slow! But there IS progress.

 

You have to shine all that chrome

A suggestion on running the spark lug wires

 

What's a good chrome polish?

 

Thinking about that today. The wires need to be neater but there are a few things ahead of that task. Thanks for the comment & pic.

Front brake shoes are on.

 

I use Noxon polish, works good on chrome and stainless. I apply it with old flannel or cheese cloth. Dupont makes a good one as well.

Brake lines are run. Sway bar is mounted. Now, on to the gas tank and fuel line.
