Didnt intend to offend, Its yours to do as you please and express "yourself" with a style you like, carry on....

 

Have always liked the stance on this car, and American Torque Thrust have always been a favorite of mine.

@flynbrian48 I like the Wheel/Tire/Cap/Size combo on the 34 @low budget posted and @Dago 88's similar combo on his 32...That said perhaps some kind of Spider like addition to the Chrome Slots with the Bias perhaps WW out and maybe BW out. Chrome reversed as is...no anything but nuts and tires would be nice with the Bias WW or BW your choice...Hey these are all personal difficult tedious decisions. The other thing it may be is expensive if you have to invest in more stuff...Maybe someone can lend you some to try a few more look and ponders to help in deciding...What else is new...oh and the top color as well adds to the drama...I will say your nearing the finish line.

Stance and wheels are both something that will always be personal choices that we may wonder what
they were thinking, but one thing this thread has shown is that stance can vary considerably based on
the style of the vehicle but still look right. Having an eye for what is right for a vehicle is something that
comes from experience, looking at a lot of other vehicles, and stepping back from the vehicle to see where you are. Wheels and tires are simple to change, vehicle stance not so much. Painted steel wheels
with plain tires or whitewalls where they are right are an affordable choice that looks timeless, aftermarket wheels must be chosen very carefully. Brian's car is looking good, my personal feeling is the wires look too 70's, but it is not my car. Happy Birthday Brian.

 

Lol, lots of opinions here! Beyond liking or disliking a choice of rolling stock, the visual impact of wheels and stance is what I was getting at. Stance is easy to achieve, and change, on
with air on a custom, but hard on s static suspension under a hot rod. At least for me. For me, walking out to the shop and seeing this roadster crouched on its wheels, ANY of the three sets I have, is just the way I envisioned. I think it has impact, and personality. I like it, if others do too, great. If not, they are welcome to build their own car.

Brian, I think that your buddy is right and in your case you tick both of those boxes with wheels and stance.
However there are probably two other boxes that are up there as well and they are THEME and COLOR.
They are boxes that you also look to be able to tick.
Nothing like looking at a car where it is obvious the guy could not make up his mind and did not stick to a theme and the other is choosing the right color, which is just the ultimate way to complete and highlight all the good work that has gone into a build, even if it is old patina or satin black etc.
