From crowman right here on the HAMB back in 2011--- "Stan Bowman from Canton bought Oties ol' AA/A then had a Woody Gilmore AA/A , Stan was the last driver for the Blue Angles T/F and started into Funny Cars, all his cars were "The Flying Dutchman" with the exception of " The Ohio State Patrol" Camaro F/C." The pictured car is definitely not the Oties unit so it must be the Woody car. The radius rod bracket and torsion bar configuration appear to confirm that. Roo
The Stan Bowman Altered is a beautiful looking race car. Don't believe I have ever seen it before. Looks so "tiny". Love this thread. Thanks for sharing your photos and stories folks.
Jack Ditmars (with foot on wheel) and Herb Moller at the US Nationals in 1965. Moller crewed for Ditmars and later (1972) drove Jack's Mini Brute Opel A/FC when Ditmars debuted a rear engine Vega. About 3 weeks before the 1972 Nationals Ditmars crashed the Vega and got back in the Opel to complete some match race bookings before retiring in early 1973. The 34 coupe was restored several years ago and was at one of the final Hunnert Car Pileup events. Roo

Lovin' the tire sizes on those B/A coupes. I wonder if/when the deuce coupe ever got those whitewalls hooked up?
