I have not sold much on the HAMB for a while due to two reasons...1: I dont have anything cool to sell anymore, and 2: I took a job about 16 months ago working for a dentist friend who has a collection of hot rods and muscle cars.
Which leads me to the 51 Ford lead sled custom. My "dentist friend" seldom tells me much about new arrivals to his collection. He usually just tells me "one is being delivered next Tuesday (or whatever day) and please be on the lookout for it". He never tells me what kind of car or where it is from or any details. This nice 51 Ford lead sled custom arrived at the car-shop a week ago and it is so nice I thought I would share some pictures of it with my HAMB friends.
I spent the first couple days getting the hood open as the cable release was non-functional. The car looked like it had been driven without any 51 Ford.JPG 51 Ford.JPG 51 Ford.JPG 51 ford 2.JPG 51 Ford 3.JPG 51 Ford 5.JPG 51 Ford 6.JPG 51 Ford 7.JPG 51 ford 8.JPG 51 Ford engine bay.JPG periodic maintenance and lots of things were loose. I have it all back to square one and if it does not snow here tonight I will take it for a test drive tomorrow.

Lots of time and effort went into that car. Outside it's beautiful. That engine compartment is the ****s though.

Looks like a very well executed car. Overall I like it. With a few relatively easy changes it could be truly great.

That is one sweet shoebox but I am not a fan of the way they did the inner fenders and that **** ugly steering wheel needs to go in the dumpster. Those things don't looks right in any style of build.

I dont disagree with anything that has been said. You just have to remember he is a dentist with an interest in cars, not a Hamb 32 5W.JPG 32 roadster.JPG international truck.JPG dragster2.JPG guy with an interest in good dental work! Here are a couple more of his HAMB friendly cars!
