i'm looking for old school techniques.... i don't want foam put in, that will only flatten out after a few yrs. i have seen and heard that useing cotton is the best way to go. but shops don't use it and it's hard to find someone that can do it right or how about with horse hair. anybody know of a place?

AND no i don't want it stuffed with cotton balls either.

There is a guy here on Whittier Blvd (in Whittier) I believe his shop is Modern Auto Canv*** (or trim) but he's pretty pricey. His name is Lanny and he's a memeber of the LA Roadsters. I've also heard that he has a somewhat lengthy waiting list. However, everyone who has gone to him loves his work. I'll try to get some more info tomorrow on my way to work. Ya know, you could always go to TJ and have your seat stuffed with hay and manure . . . sorry Dante couldn't resist the option of a TJ interior joke. Seriously I'll get some more info tomorrow.

Give Alan a call at Conejo Upholstery in Thousand Oaks. His work is really cl***! He does real old school stuff as well as all that tweed **** that the "checkbook trailer queen" guys bring him.

Bon-a-rue's always did good work for me in the past when i had some stuff done. Was a while ago but it was always full of nice stuff in the past.

as an added bonus it's right next to stan betz's paint shop so it could make for a good outing for you.
