How do you remove a starter from a 1933 ford v8 oil pan?

  2. There are two bolts on the front of the starter, they will take a 7/16 wrench. Remove those bolts and carefully pull the starter out and down. Those bolts go through the starter and hold it together, so be careful it does not come apart as you remove it. You do not need to take the bolts out, just loosen enough that that are no longer threaded into the oil pan

Some have a support bracket on the top of the starter that bolts to an oil pan bolt. If yours has that, you will probably have to remove that little bracket as well.

    Pretty easy job
