1952-59 Ford ID this part?

So I cleaned out my 54 project today and there was a bumper in there that I couldnt Identify. Normally I would guess that it is something Ford but considering the 54-67 Vw bug bumper set that was also in there its anyones guess.... Which is where you fine gents come in....help?

Despite how it looks in the light that stamp reads U555


Any thoughts? Mustang? Something 60's right?
