Technical 1936 Ford 5W doors VS 4D doors Will they interchange?

I am looking for some 1936 Ford 5w doors and ran across some 4D fronts and wondered if they will interchange. After measuring, the the 5w doors are a half inch taller at the back corner. Seems like they might be made to work? anybody ever done this conversion? Is that the only difference in the doors? is the inner skin/structure the same? Thanks for any and all help.

 

They will work. Just grind the top to get the proper gap.

Well cant say for 36 but 37 4dr fronts do swap over to a coupe .you just need to re radius the trailing edge at the top as the coupe roof line tapers down sooner than the 4dr . Then re weld where you split the folded seam on the top. Simple as that.
