The photo of Jeb Allen prompted me to look him up. Interesting life, troubled for certain at times, but still a success story. Great photo.

Wonder when all those guys in the Winner's Circle will get sued for sexual harassment because they had their arms around the trophy girl's waists ?

Without going political, sexual harassment is unwanted or inaproropriate behavior. I would hazard a guess that every trophy girl was aware that a hug and a kiss, and oogling 50 years later by creepy old men, would be an expected part of the job. Groping or fondling was not appropriate.

After staring at this pic for awhile I finally saw the truck.
It looks like those are late model (48-52) rear fenders on that truck

Maybe so or a chunk of plywood as it may have been a spur of the moment pic as its obviously not a show or race. Or sometimes photographers use things to reflect light to get that shot right...but whatever the reason its a really nicely done and the oddball year box/cab mix helps solidify period detailing.

LOL!! who knows, maybe it's a sign or a table or something.
Yea, I'd like to see some more pics.....of the girl and the truck!
It looks like they did a really nice job of molding the running boards into the later model fenders.

  22. It looks like a bed cover that has the rear section hinged. You can see the rear of the bed rail.

Is she a trophy girl? Or the owner? Kinda looks to me that she was the owner and had received the trophy.

Of course, she would be both, if she was also the owner. :)
