  3. 56 wagon. Has some new parts. Needs rockers and floor work. Bottom inside of the lift gate as well. Comes with some new parts and new outer rockers. It's an auto car with a perfect un cut dash and factory radio. Looks like a front end rebuild as well. I have the option to get its original engine for another 500
    A rebuilt 235.
    No trans with the car

  5. Super straight sheet metal and trim. Plans are for a mechanical resto, drop, fix rust and interior. Plan to just clean up the outside for now

    she sent me the coordinates this morning to check it out, I then realized I didn't dream that.

    Nice,but better look out ,an better not pout!I'm telling you why;
    I got my wife a cool used car many years back,it was rust free an I worked on it about 3 months over at a buddy's,to get it really nice,so she didn't know. Put a very big red bow on it,and locked in garage for Christmas AM. Well I pop the garage door for the big revell,and not one smile,she was thinking it would be a washer /dryer set for sure. I never hear the end of that one,an she had me drive "her" new car to the" auto wash mat" for a few weeks to boot ! LOL
    May be if the car had been a Maytag ?

  15. Don't post any craigslist ads saying your wife wants a BBC for Valentine's Day.

    The hood V shows it to be a V8 car - check the serial # on the door jam, if it starts with VB56, it was a 265 ... does it have a V on the end gate ?
    That's the perfect place to use your 283.
    Damn, John ! You made me blow coffee all over the place ...

    I know where that car came from! I've been looking at it every day when I drove by it, wishing I had the extra money to buy it! If you came through Berry, you drove right by my house when you went and looked at it.

    From the one time I talked to you and your wife in Winfield at the Mule Day Show, I figure she will love it, especially when you get it going! Good luck with it!

    My mom drove one just like that when I was a kid in Alaska. She ran off the road into a snow bank. When my dad pulled it out, it left a perfect impression of the front end in the snow.

    Love me some wagon, but 56's just don't do it for me. Miles better than 57, but 55's look the best.
