Well guys/gals I’ve been lurking a lil bit and even posted twice a couple of times with out getting slammed.

Without further ado, My names Thomas Whisnant a.k.a. WHIZ I’m 26 years young. I’m currently stationed in Augusta, GA as a Member of the US Air Force. I’m married have a 7 year old son. I’ve been a Mini Trucker since 93 and an all around car nut since I came out in my birthday suit.

    My current projects include:
61 F100 Unibody – hoping to pull off some sort of lead sled look with it
69 Mustang coupe – vintage racer if all goes well
86 Mazda B2000 – receiving Motor, Trans, IRS transplant from RX7 TII donor car
89 Chevy 1500 – Former Daily driver, receiving motor transplant (stock replacement)
    91 Mustang – my drag toy/daily driver
91 Mazda B2200 – just acquired this one this past weekend planning on pulling a rod looking mini

I’m going to focus a little more on the Unisled since it’s a lil closer to the genre of HAMB. The Unisled is a 61 F100 Unibody Custom Cab (big back window). I picked it up via Egay for a whopping $102.50 in Virginia. The surface rust looks worse in the pictures then it is in person, the major problem with the truck as it sits right now is the body mounts. I’ve acquired the motor and trans for the truck out of a Camaro, the truck will be fuel injected (not so HAMB’ish). The motor is a 418 ci Lunati stroked LT1 backed by a TCI 700R4 donated from said Camaro. The truck is going to be finished in John Deer Black with Custom lime green pinstriping applied by a local. The wheels will be steel 16” in the front 18” in the back LIME GREEN of course with 3” white walls I HOPE! For the body expect a lot of shaving and some Falcon taillights. I already have replacement tin for almost every damaged panel so the rebuild will be relatively painless.

With that being said I’ve wasted enough of you’re time.

Below is a picture from the trip down from Virginia! Sorry for the picture quality the hosting sight wasn't that great.

Good enuff for me...saw one of those built into a crew-cab in a small town in Kansas last summer...I'm not sure the round Falcon lights are going to go with the square body, I'd like to see a photoshop of that... of course, that's just my opinion, and what do I know?

BTW, thanx for serving in our armed forces...I have two nephews in the Air Force...both Captains and one is up for promotion rite now...

    FWIW, welcome to the HAMB...

I'm new here too. Nice truck, never knew they made a Unibody. If you get bumpers you may need some polish. [IMG]
