Okay, so I'm putting in my newfangled electric wiper motor, and I'm not sure what I do with the original vacuum outlet below the carb, on the intake? Can I just stick a cap on it?

Or is that going to mess up the delicate balance of air, gas and fire that makes my 216 blow the doors off my nieces' Barbie Jeep? :D

    Thanks

    Yup cap it

OR better yet hook a vacuum or "motorminder" gauge to it. :)

Remember if your engine backfires it may blow the cap off!!

Yes, or better, put a "wolf whistle" on it!

(Or a motor minder/vacuum guage is good too, I guess, but it doesn't make cool noises!)

Good place for any vac***e power you may need. but the fitting is US pipe thresd into the cast iron. Just remove the fitting and put a standard pipe plug, use br*** it will not rust tight to the manifold.

I think they are tacky, tasteless, and the way they are usually used, ***ist and degrading to women, but other than that, a ton of fun!

54Bomb--I used a cheapo aftermarket electric from Hampton Coach. It's actually not installed yet--I am being OCD about making the bracket/install super clean. But I tested it last summer with a temp hook-up and it worked fine.
