That's Okay, My wife often ask , is that a Hot Wheels in your pocket? Or are you just glad to see me. Ron....
We are in a cold snap so I have been hanging around the house and cleaning some of the toys on my shelves. Started restoring a few of the Structo and Hubley cars I have for my Structo Auto Transport trucks.
It seems like there's a Tuesday almost every week... Here's a '56 Texas Highway Patrol I converted into a flash drive for our fearless leader... complete with HAMB stenciled on the roof.

Yes she really does. When we got married she let me get a new Hot Wheels every time we went for groceries, and still does. Only now there aren't very many that I like. Thanks everyone for all the cool post this year. I hope to have more time to play with the toys after the holidays. Here's a few favorites from this past year. Ron...
Cleaning some of the Hotwheels shelves and spotted a couple of trucks and trailers I made over 15 years ago when we had our Auto Salvage Yard. Used some of the old broken Hotwheels and a beat up Ertl Tractor/Trailer for these. I guess my Dad teaching me to be thrifty payed off. I still enjoy being creative and re-purposing stuff.
How about a diecast without wheels. A pre hydraulic D7 Cat on a narrow gauge wood flat I scratch built.
Some additions to my collection I found while helping my brother move some stuff around at his shop... Sent from my QTASUN1 using The H.A.M.B. mobile app

I turned those leftover parts into this: The inspiration for this rig was the 1955 Peterbilt 281 featured in the movie Duel. Filmed in 1971, Steven Spielberg's production crew replaced the Cummins NTC-350 with a 300 hp CAT 1674 twin turbocharged diesel in order to film scenes at 90 mph. The original 5 speed with 3 speed auxiliary twin stick transmission were also replaced with a 13 speed.
